A rare and well-preserved example of BEFORE 1700 from Jain community, Western India, circa 15th century, noted for its craftsmanship, material quality, and historical relevance.

A 15th century Jain Brass Shrine of Parshvanatha inlaid with Silver Dated 1481 Hindi Year. Cast with a Jina seated in meditation on a throne supported by adorants and under a tiered umbrella, surrounded by seated or standing figures of tirthankaras, the eyes and auspicious Srivasta marks picked out in silver, on openwork plinth with inscription to its reverse.
