For sale is a beautiful and substantial Chinese Longquan-style celadon "Twin Fish" dish, dating to the late 19th Century (Late Qing Dynasty). This dish is a high-quality revival of the classic Southern Song dynasty design, featuring the iconic "mutton fat" green glaze and auspicious symbolism.\n\nCentral Motif: The interior is decorated with two sprig-moulded fish (carp) in relief, symbolizing harmony and abundance.\n\nExterior: The outer walls are finely carved with a traditional "lotus petal" motif, adding wonderful texture and depth o the glaze.\n\nGlaze: A thick, sea-green celadon glaze with a fine, natural crazing/crackle pattern throughout.\n\nThe Foot: The unglazed foot rim has fired to a characteristic reddish-orange "burnt" tone, typical of iron-rich Longquan clay.\n\nDimensions & Condition\nDiameter: 20 cm (approx. 7.8 inches).\nCondition: Excellent antique condition.
